Welcome to Wolverhampton Boat Club

Wolverhampton Boat Club is situated on the Shropshire Union Canal, about one mile up from its junction with the Staffs and Worcs canal at Autherley Junction. It was formed in 1961 as Autherley Boat Club, and it later moved to its present site. Our clubhouse is on the south side of the canal where a metal footbridge crosses by an attractive old iron wharf crane which formerly stood at Wigan Pier! The club has facilities for member's boats, but
does not permit permanent residence on any boat.

If you are interested in joining our club, you are welcome to drop in.
You will be sure of a warm welcome.

The club is open to members and visiting boaters

Wednesday 20:00 - 23:00
Friday 20:00 - 23:00
Saturday 20:00 - 23:00

Moorings are available to club members. Prospective members must pay 6 months mooring in advance, dating from the time the boat arrives at the club.
Temporary moorings are available to members of AWCC.

We have an active social calendar (see EVENTS Tab)
The club depends on the membership to support the club.

The WBC Tote, only open to paid up members of Wolverhampton Boat Club, raised £723 for the Club and paid £723 in prize money last year.
